Nepal to Philippines
Nepal to Manila, Cebu or Davao.
Most of what we send to the Philippines is paperwork, samples and gifts for students and families. Here is how to get it there without a hold-up.
Philippine addresses depend on the barangay, the smallest local area. A parcel without it can go round in circles inside a big city.
What you can send
- Documents: Academic papers and certificates, often for medical students. Keep originals flat and dry.
- Business samples: Product samples for buyers. Mark them "sample, no commercial value" with a rough value.
- Clothes and shoes: Light clothes travel well; it is warm all year.
- Dry, packed food: Sealed snacks and tea in shop packets.
What not to send
- Meat of any kind: We do not take meat on this route.
- Batteries, gas and anything flammable: Power banks, loose lithium batteries, lighters, matches, perfume in large amounts and aerosol cans cannot fly in cargo.
- Cash, gold and copied brands: No cash, gold, silver or jewellery of value, and no fake branded goods. Customs seize them and the parcel stops.
What the receiver needs
Give the courier everything down to the barangay.
- Full name
- House or unit number and street
- Barangay, city and province
- 4-digit ZIP code and a +63 mobile
A nearby landmark ("near the church", "beside the 7-Eleven") genuinely helps couriers there.
