Nepal to Canada
Something warm from Nepal, for a Canadian winter.
Students in Toronto, families in Calgary and Vancouver. Here is what to pack, how to write the address, and what it costs today.
Canada splits the check between the border agency (CBSA) and the food inspection agency (CFIA). For you that means: list every food item, and leave meat out.
What you can send
- Clothes and shoes: Wool, pashmina and sweaters are welcome in a Canadian winter.
- Dry, packed food: Packed spices, tea and sweets, labelled and listed.

What not to send
- Meat of any kind: Meat products are not allowed into Canada from Nepal.
